- 15m ago – England update: Jarell Quansah withdrawn
Important fixture for Scotland on Sunday, as they host Belarus to the city of Glasgow.
Uefa half-time results:
Norway 3-0 the Israeli squad – Erling Haaland scored the second score.
Hungary nil-nil Armenia
England update: Jarell Quansah withdrawn
Jarell Quansah will sit out England's FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Latvia due to a physical issue and the player – who did not participate in England's 3-0 exhibition victory over the Welsh team at Wembley – will return to his club Bayer Leverkusen.
The former Liverpool defender has been a mainstay in Leverkusen's backline this campaign but England said no further squad additions were arranged for the qualification match in Riga on Tuesday.
The English side could secure a spot for next year's FIFA World Cup with two matches to remaining if they beat Latvia on Tuesday and results in other matches in their qualifying group go their way.
Introduction
This is critical for the Irish team, though their opportunities of making it to North America may already seem over. A familiar face in Cristiano Ronaldo greets them, and Portugal are top of their group. At Sporting Club’s stadium, Ireland face a enormous task.
Our other main focus will be reigning European champions the Spanish national team, who have won all their matches so far in their group, against Georgia, who have never qualified for a major tournament and are aiming for the qualifying playoffs. Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been a question and Liverpool fans will get a chance to see Giorgi Mamardashvili.
