During a low-scoring contest on Sunday, the Broncos clinched a close win over the winless New York Jets. Quarterback Bo Nix connected on a first-quarter touchdown pass and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the late decisive three-pointer to secure the ugly win.

Defensive Display Seals Contest

Despite recording nine sacks against Jets quarterback Justin Fields, the Broncos were behind 11-10 following conceding a safety in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets could only produce just 82 total net yards throughout the entire game.

The Denver quarterback, who went 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a decisive 12-play, 65-yard possession that ended with Lutz's short kick with approximately five minutes remaining.

Historic Difficulties for Jets Offense

In spite of their dismal performance, the Jets maintained possession with a opportunity to drive for a possible winning score. But Fields was tackled on fourth-and-eight from the Denver 44 after head coach Aaron Glenn chose to attempt the conversion rather than calling on kicker Nick Folk for a long kick.
